How to convert self-contained HTML into a PDF locally

Paste HTML markup or upload an .html/.htm file, choose A4, US Letter or 80mm receipt output, and generate the PDF locally. The tool does not fetch or render a live webpage URL.

  1. Paste HTML into the editor or upload an .html/.htm file.
  2. Choose A4, US Letter or 80mm Thermal Receipt.
  3. Choose portrait or landscape for A4 and Letter.
  4. Use self-contained HTML: inline styles, embedded style blocks, SVG and data-image assets work more reliably than external dependencies.
  5. Convert and download the PDF, then inspect layout, images, links and page breaks.

A practical example

A self-contained invoice with inline CSS and a base64-embedded logo can be converted to A4 PDF without sending the HTML to a rendering server. A remote stylesheet or remote image is not fetched by the converter.

Common questions

Can I paste HTML code directly?

Yes. Paste mode converts the markup currently in the editor.

Can I upload an HTML file?

Yes. The current interface accepts .html and .htm files.

Can I paste a webpage URL?

No. The tool converts HTML source, not a live URL. It does not crawl or fetch an external webpage.

Are scripts executed?

No. Script elements, inline event-handler attributes and javascript: links are removed before styled document rendering.

Do external stylesheets load?

No. External link-based stylesheets are removed. Use inline styles or an embedded style block for self-contained formatting.

Do remote images load?

No. Image elements whose source is not a data:image URL are removed by the styled HTML sanitizer. Embed important images as data URLs.

Is receipt output rendered the same way as A4 or Letter?

No. Receipt mode uses a simpler semantic document renderer for headings, text, tables, rules and embedded data images. A4 and Letter use the richer styled renderer.

Is the HTML uploaded?

The conversion runs locally in your browser.
